GET Nutrition Consulting Inc. (“GET Nutrition”) is a licensed provider of Metabolic Balance in Canada, a service owned and operated by Metabolic Balance GmbH & Co. KG. Metabolic Balance was developed as a meal planning tool for doctors, non-medical practitioners and nutritionists. Neither Metabolic Balance GmbH nor GET Nutrition (collectively, “Metabolic Balance”) is licensed to provide healthcare services.

The employees, agents, consultants, and contractors of Metabolic Balance do not give medical advice nor make diagnoses. Metabolic Balance does not diagnose, identify, or treat any disease, illness, disorder, or medical condition. Metabolic Balance does not monitor your health or provide information to any person, including your physician, about any disease, illness, disorder, or medical condition. Any lab work provided to Metabolic Balance is used solely for preparing your personalized meal plan under the Metabolic Balance Program (the “Nutrition Plan”) and for no other purpose. You acknowledge and agree, by participating in the Metabolic Balance Program, that the results of such lab work will only be used to prepare the meal plan, and that any further analysis, including using the results of such lab work to detect and diagnose certain medical conditions, is solely your responsibility together with your physician, and not the responsibility of Metabolic Balance.

All information provided by Metabolic Balance should not be considered in any way a substitute for medical advice, diagnoses and therapies given by a doctor. Clients should always notify their physician of any disorder, ailment, or medical concern, whether suspected or diagnosed.

Pregnant and nursing mothers, clients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, clients with diagnosed or undiagnosed health conditions, or clients with a body-mass index (BMI) of less than 18 are not permitted to participate in the Metabolic Balance Program.

You must talk to your doctor about participating in the Metabolic Balance Program if: you are under the age of 18 or you have been diagnosed with any medical condition; are under medical treatment due to being overweight or underweight; you have been advised by a doctor to conform to a certain diet; you have been diagnosed with diabetes; you are currently taking any medication prescribed by a doctor; or you suffer from or have suffered from a condition that makes weight loss undesirable. If you are permitted by your doctor to participate in the Metabolic Balance Program, your doctor should monitor your health on a regular basis and adjust any medication you may be taking, if required.

You must be under a physician’s supervision while participating in the Metabolic Balance Program.

If you experience any changes to your health or an exacerbation of an existing medical condition while participating in the Metabolic Balance Program, you must stop the Metabolic Balance Program immediately and seek the advice of a physician.

The Metabolic Balance Program is a meal planning program. The Metabolic Balance Program has not been evaluated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency or Health Canada, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

The customized meal plan you will receive as part of your participation in the Metabolic Balance Program is designed solely for your use. You must not allow any other person to use your meal plan.

The Metabolic Balance Program is in no way a replacement of or substitute for medical advice from a licensed physician.
