I had no other alternative. I could only choose between 6 different foods, which had to come from the same producer. If I didn't stick to it, my body would respond with allergic reactions. My weight was the least of my worries.
I suffered from allergies all the time. The symptoms ranged from having trouble swallowing to anaphylactic shocks. In case of emergencies, I had different medications and many doctor's instructions.
I made the decision to follow the Metabolic Balance nutrition program because I believed it was the only method that could attenuate and eliminate my allergic reactions to certain foods.
I was scared. at first. In my plan, there were a bunch of things I felt like : well, you can't eat this! There were a lot of fruits, for example, which I started researching their fructose content for. At the beginning, I only ate papaya. It wasn't until I saw that I wasn't getting any cramps for many of the recommanded foods that I started to eat whatever was on my plan. It was a real delight. Plus, I even lost weight.
Not worrying about what I eat anymore ! I have since started a food blog, been on a TV cooking show as a guest, and cooked a perfectly normal meal while on the show. I have created hundreds of recipes and I am incredibly happy!
